Autumn is between life and death as the beauty of the golden leaves shine greatest right before the winter death, cold and still. The colors of the forest fall gently onto the ground as patterns fill the forest floor. The trees are like that of arches enclosing the sky and keeping the forest away from the rest of the world. The forest is a world in itself away from the noises and commotion of the city and highways. Dried up rivers and streams during the summer once flow again through the leaves and the rocks. Streaks of light shine through the trees, as the bones of the forest become unraveled as the leaves fall day after day until there is no more. Black clouds cover the forest and sets it into the sleep of winter.
